It is a temporary filling that can be applied without drying the tooth cavity and over a medication (treatment of pulpitis) and during endodontic therapies that require more than one treatment. PLASTOR hardens quickly in contact with the saliva, remains intact, and resists chewing. It is easy to apply and remove it manually. Plastor does not conduct heat, thereby inhibits the conduction of thermal stimuli to the pulp.
